The Most High showed Esdras prophecies concerning the last seven plagues of God, and what will take place on the earth during the Great Day of God’s Fierce Anger (The Day of the Lord). These prophecies where shown to Esdras during the reign of the Persian/Media empire while Israel was under the punishments of the first covenant (See Deuteronomy 28:15-68).
The Words of Prophecy
2 Esdras 15:1: “Behold, speak thou” [Esdras]
“in the ears of my people” [Israel] “the words of prophecy,
which I” [The Most High] “will put in thy” [Esdras’]
“mouth,
saith the Lord:”
2 Esdras 15:2: “And cause them” [My words]
“to
be written in paper: for they” [My words] “are faithful and
true.”
2 Esdras 15:3: “Fear not the imaginations
against thee,” [Esdras] “let not the incredulity of them” [The
unfaithful/wicked Israelites] “trouble thee, that speak against
thee.”
2 Esdras 15:4: “For all the unfaithful shall
die in their unfaithfulness.” See Romans 3:3-4.
The Seven Last Plagues of God
2 Esdras 15:5: “Behold, saith the Lord, I will bring plagues
upon the world; the sword, famine, death, and destruction.” The
Seven Last Plagues of God, see Revelation 15:1 and
Revelation
16:1-21.
2 Esdras 15:6: “For wickedness hath exceedingly polluted the
whole earth,” [See 2 Esdras 4:28-31] “and their hurtful works
are fulfilled.” See 2 Esdras 4:35-37.
2 Esdras 15:7: “Therefore” [Because the works of wickedness are
fulfilled] “saith the Lord,”
2 Esdras 15:8: “I” [The Most High] “will hold my tongue no more
as touching their wickedness, which they profanely commit,” [See
Revelation 13:3-8] “neither will I suffer them in those things,
in which they wickedly exercise themselves:” [See Revelation
13:12-17] “behold, the innocent and righteous blood crieth unto
me, and the souls of the just complain continually.” See
Revelation 6:9-10.
2 Esdras 15:9: “And therefore, saith the Lord, I will surely
avenge them,” [The 144,000, see Revelation 18:20-24]
“and
receive unto me all the innocent blood from among them.” These
are the Saints, see Revelation 14:1-5, Revelation 16:1-8 and
Message to reader: The 144,000.
The Seven Last Plagues of God will begin after the death/killing of the 144,000, who are the Servants of God. The Elect are the people of God who remain on the earth. They will be delivered by Christ and his angels, see Matthew 24:22, 31.
The Judgment of Egypt (Babylon) destory with Plagues/The Last Seven Plagues of God

land of Egypt:” The great city Babylon, which is
spiritually called Egypt, see Revelation 11:8
and Revelation 18:10.
2 Esdras 15:11: “But I” [The Most
High] “will bring them” [The Elect] “with a mighty
hand and a stretched out arm, and smite Egypt” [Spiritually
called Babylon, see Revelation 11:8] “with
plagues, as before,” [The Last Seven Plagues of God, see
Revelation 16:1-21] “and will destroy all
the land thereof.” See Verses 40-44 and

shall mourn: for their seeds shall fail through the blasting and
hail, and with a fearful constellation.” The horrible clouds,
see Verses 40-44.
The Beginning of Sorrow
The beginning of sorrows, upon the world, starts with the first of the seven last plagues of God, see 2 Esdras 16:14-18 and Revelation 16:1. The aforementioned plagues will be sent to those that worship the Beast, and receive his mark, see Revelation 14:9-10.

wrath, and vengeance] “to the world and them that dwell
therein!”

destruction” [The second coming of Christ, see
Revelation 19:11-15, 2 Esdras 13:8-11, 25-28 and 2 Esdras 15:34-37]

upon his neighbour, but shall destroy their houses with the
sword, and spoil their goods, because of the lack of bread, and
for great tribulation.” See 2 Esdras 16:14-19
and Revelation 16:1-14.

Warning to the Rebellious/Sinners

power, defile not my sanctuary.”

them that sin against him, and therefore delivereth he them”

The Horrible Vision
In verses 29-33, Esdras is shown a vision concerning the war
between the nations in the valley of Jehoshaphat, see Joel
3:1-2, 2 Esdras 13:5-11, 25-38,
2 Esdras 15:20 and Revelation

Revelation 6:12-17 and Revelation 16:17-21.
Isaiah 9:5: “For every battle of the warrior” [All wars fought
on earth] “is with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood;
but this” [The battle of the Lord, see Isaiah 13:5]
“shall be
with burning and fuel of fire.” See 2 Esdras 15:40-44. In
verses
28, 34-44 the Lord reveals “the burning and fuel of fire” to
Esdras. This prophecy will take place during the Great Day of
God Almighty/The Day of the Lord/The Day of His Fierce Anger.
The destruction sent forth from the clouds and the horrible
star, see verses 35, 39, 44, is the vengeance of God from Christ

Isaiah
66:15-16, Joel 3:1-2, Habakkuk 3:3-16 and

clouds, see Revelation 1:7.

great power shall they” [The Carmainians] “come, and
join battle with them,” [The nations of the dragons of
Arabia] “and shall waste a portion of the land of the
Assyrians.”
2 Esdras 15:31: “And then shall the
dragons” [The nations of the dragons of Arabia] “have

Asia Destroy with Plagues/Reap What You Sow-Captivity
Asia is the region which contains the lands of ancient
Babylon, Assyria, Media, Persia etc. (The Seleucus Empire), see map for more
information. During the time period of the Greeks (Antiochus
Epiphanes, ruled 175 to 164 BC), Romans (Titus and Vespasian 70
AD), and the kingdom of the Beast (See Revelation
13:14-15), the people of Asia slew the chosen people of
God. The people of Asia were drunk with the wine/doctrine of the
Greek/Roman Empire; see 1 Maccabees 1:1-9,
2 Esdras 11:1, 6, 2 ESdras 12:10-13
and Revelation 17:2. They will be raised up
again (See Daniel 12:2 and Acts 24:15),

Warning to God's People
Verses 51-78 are warnings from God to the Israelites to repent and choose life. Esdras was commanded of God to write down and warn the Israelites, who were with him in the Persian/Media captivity (See 2 Esdras 1:1-3), of prophesies which will take place at the end of this world when wickedness hath reach its peak, see 2 Esdras 15:1.
2 Esdras 16:51: “And therefore” [Because
of the above parable, see
verses 49-50] “be ye”
[The Israelites during the time period of Esdras] “not like thereunto,” [Do not envy
righteousness] “nor to the works thereof.” Sin/wickedness!
2 Esdras 16:52: “For yet a little, and
iniquity shall be taken away out of the earth,” [See
2 Esdras 15:6-8]
“and righteousness
shall reign among you.” Those Israelites that obeyed the
teachings of Esdras, see 2 Esdras 15:1-2,
2 Peter 3:13 and
Revelation 21:1,
27.
2 Esdras 16:53: “Let not the sinner"
[The Israelites who sinned] "say that he hath not
sinned:” [See Mark 2:17] “for God shall burn coals of fire upon
his head,” [See 2 Esdras 15:35, 40-44] “which saith before the
Lord God and his glory,” [Christ and the angels, see
Matthew
25:31] “I have not sinned.”

created.” See Genesis 1:1-2, 2 Esdras 6:38 and
Psalms 33:6-9.

“hath shut the sea in the

heart in the midst of the body, and gave him breath, life, and
understanding.” See Genesis 2:7 and
