Revelation 22:6: “And he” [The angel, see Revelation 21:9] “said unto me,” [John] “These sayings” [The things written in the book of Revelation, examples; the prophecies concerning the time of the Beast, Christ’s second coming, the last judgment and New Jerusalem] “are faithful and true:” [They will come to past!] “and the Lord God" [Christ, see verse 7] "of the holy prophets” [See Revelation 11:18] “sent his angel” [See verse 16 and Revelation 1:1] “to shew unto his servants” [In the seven churches of Asia, those who are among the 144,000/Servants of God/Saints of the Most High, see Revelation 1:11 and review Revelation chapters 2 and 3] “the things” [Written in the book of Revelation] “which must shortly be done.”

Revelation 22:7: “Behold, I” [Christ] “come quickly: blessed is he” [In the seven churches of Asia, those who are among the 144,000/Servants of God/Saints of the Most High] “that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.” The book of Revelation.

Revelation 22:8: “And I John saw these things,” [Visions/prophecies written in the book of Revelation] “and heard them.” [The words spoken to John throughout the book of Revelation] “And when I” [John] “had heard and seen, I” [John] “fell down to worship before the feet of the angel” [Sent by Christ] “which shewed me” [John] “these things.” The visions and prophecies.

Revelation 22:9: “Then saith he” [The angel] “unto me,” [John] “See thou do it not:” [worship before the feet of the angel] “for I” [The angel] “am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book:” [Revelation] “worship God.”

Revelation 22:10: “And he” [The angel] “saith unto me,” [John] “Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book:” [The book of Revelation was sent to the seven churches in Asia, see Revelation 1:4-11] “for the time is at hand.” The rewards and punishments were sent to the seven churches in Asia. Those believers, who obeyed Christ will receive his promises, likewise those who were disobedient, his punishments, see Revelation chapters 2 and 3.

Revelation 22:11: “He” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “that is unjust, let him” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “be unjust still: and he” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “which is filthy, let him” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “be filthy still: and he” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “that is righteous, let him” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “be righteous still: and he” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “that is holy, let him” [Each individual in the seven churches in Asia] “be holy still.”

Christ to the Saints

Revelation 22:12: “And, behold, I” [Christ] “come quickly; and my” [Christ’s] “reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” See verse 10-11.

Revelation 22:13: “I” [Christ] “am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.”

Revelation 22:14: “Blessed are they” [The righteous in the seven churches in Asia] “that do his commandments, that they” [The righteous in the seven churches in Asia] “may have right to the tree of life,” [See Revelation 22:1-2 and Revelation 2:7] “and may enter in through the gates into the city.” New Jerusalem.

Revelation 22:15: “For without” [Outside the gates of New Jerusalem] “are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” The people of the nations that refuse to accept the word of God, see Isaiah 56:9-12, Philippians 3:2 and Ephesians 2:12.

Revelation 22:16: “I Jesus have sent mine angel” [See verse 6 and Revelation 1:1] “to testify unto you” [John] “these things in the churches.” [The seven churches in Asia] “I” [Christ] “am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.”

Revelation 22:17: “And the Spirit” [Christ, see Revelation 2:7] “and the bride” [New Jerusalem, see Revelation 19:7 and Revelation 21:2] “say, Come. And let him” [In the seven churches in Asia] “that heareth say, Come. And let him” [In the seven churches in Asia] “that is athirst come. And whosoever will,” [The Elect/great multitue, the 144,000, see John 10:27-29 and Revelation 7:2-4, 14-15] “let him” [The 144,000/Saints of the Most High/Servants of God] “take the water of life freely.” See Revelation 21:6, John 4:10, 14 and John 7:37-39.

John Warns the Seven Churches

Revelation 22:18: “For I” [John] “testify unto every man” [The Elect] “that heareth” [Understand] “the words of the prophecy of this book,” [Revelation] “If any man” [False teacher] “shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues” [For example, The Seven Last Plagues] “that are written in this book:” The book of Revelation.

Revelation 22:19: “And if any man” [False teacher] “shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” The book of Revelation.

Revelation 22:20: “He” [The angel sent by Christ] “which testifieth these things” [The visions shown to John] “saith, Surely I” [Christ] “come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.”

Revelation 22:21: “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.” [The seven churches in Asia] “Amen.”
